Dr. Basu\u2019s research in the field of water and wastewater treatment spans from centralized (turn on the tap) services to point-of-use decentralized options. Embedded in this research is a complex mix of technical, social and sustainability lenses, as well as experimental design, pilot scale and full scale research.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Associate Vice-Provost (Graduate Studies), Dr. Basu focuses on graduate awards and professional development. She oversees all major external awards (tri-council) and cross-faculty donor awards.
