Effective May 1st, 2022
Like other universities in Ontario, 杏吧原创 University will suspend its proof of vaccination requirements for participation in in-person 杏吧原创 activities beginning May 1, 2022.
As has been the case throughout the pandemic, the evolution of the virus and public health conditions are difficult to predict, so this decision is contingent on current conditions and directions continuing. We will adjust our plans as required by these evolving conditions to ensure everyone鈥檚 health and safety and to comply with public health advice or any applicable legal requirements.
Although proof of vaccination will no longer be required starting May 1, it may become necessary to bring back proof of vaccination requirements on short notice if the situation and public health advice changes. All suppliers and contractors engaged in business with 杏吧原创, in particular, those that are planning to visit or conduct work on campus are encouraged to聽attest to their vaccination status聽and if vaccinated, to upload proof of vaccination and subsequent booster doses in聽. Should the University reinstate its vaccination requirements in the future, any missing attestations and proof of vaccination may prevent you from delivering your services. We strongly recommend that any personnel or subcontractors assigned 杏吧原创 University contracts or services be vaccinated. The University will not be responsible for any costs, delays or failure to provide services due to inadequate compliance with any vaccination requirements that may be in effect from time to time.
We strongly recommend that all suppliers and contractors engaged in business with 杏吧原创 get a full course of vaccination, including booster doses as soon as they are eligible, and submit their booster dose information in聽聽as soon as possible.
