As a long-time activist in the Canadian labour movement, Teresa Healy knows how hard activists work\u2014and how rare it is that they have a moment to stop and reflect.  hat need motivated her to create the upcoming workshop, \u201cPolicy Advocacy and Social Change\u201d, which will run from May 28\u201330 as part of the FPA Professional Institute. \u201cCommunity advocates often find themselves overworked and constantly bombarded with short term decision-making and thinking,\u201d said Healy, an associate professor at SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont and an adjunct research professor in ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´\u2019s Institute of Political Economy. \u201cThis will be a chance for activists to come together and realize they aren\u2019t alone: all of these organizations are dealing with the same issues.\u201d Get more information and the full article on Professor Healy’s workshop<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
