Co-op work terms provide you with an opportunity to integrate the theoretical and practical aspects of undergraduate studies in Political Science. Students may be placed in government, not-for-profit, private, or voluntary sector organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students in the Political Science co-op program normally alternate between study terms and paid, full-time work terms that are directly related to your program of study. Political Science students must complete three work terms, in addition to their regular program requirements. Students typically require an additional year of study to complete the co-op work terms and fulfill the academic requirements of their program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/co-op\/\">The Co-op program is administered by ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´\u2019s Co-op Office.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-do-i-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I apply?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can apply directly from high school via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ouac.on.ca\/\">Ontario University Application Center Website<\/a>. You should apply to ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´\u2019s BA with a Major in Political Science (Honours) program and select the Co-op option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students enrolled in the BA Honours program in Political Science and who meet the <a title=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/regulations\/co-operativeeducation\/\" href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/regulations\/co-operativeeducation\/\">co-op admission requirements<\/a> may also <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/co-op\/apply-for-co-op\/\">apply to co-op<\/a> during their first year of study.
