\nContract Instructor positions in the Department of Philosophy<\/strong>
\n杏吧原创 University<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appointment of all Contract Instructors at 杏吧原创 University is subject to the provisions of Articles 15 \u2013 18 of the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 Collective Agreement. It can be located on the union website at www.4600.cupe.ca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressions of interest are invited from members of the CUPE 4600 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach the following courses for the 2014-15 academic year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nPhil 2380: Introduction to Environmental Ethics
\nPhil 2540: Personal Identity and the Self
\nPhil 3009: Topics in European Philosophy
\nPhil 3306: Symbolic Logic
\nPhil 3350: Philosophy, Ethics, and Public Affairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phil 1200: The Meaning of Life
\nPhil 1550: Introduction to Ethics and Social Issues
\nPhil 2001: Introduction to Logic
\nPhil 2003: Critical Thinking
\nPhil 2501: Introduction to Philosophy of Mind
\nPhil 2504: Language and Communication
\nPhil 2550: Moral Psychology
\nPhil 3140: Epistemology<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All courses are subject to budgetary approval and the University reserves the right to cancel any courses with insufficient registration. Some of these courses may be taught by employees who have the right to automatic reappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minimum qualification is normally an M.A. degree in the appropriate field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline for applications is May 26, 2014.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
