Your participation made this gathering a truly enriching experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speakers included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/philpeople.org\/profiles\/meena-krishnamurthy\">Meena Krishnamurthy<\/a>, Queen&#8217;s University Professor and author of <em>The Emotion of Nonviolence: Revisiting Martin Luther King Jr\u2019s \u201cLetter from Birmingham Jail\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/philosophy\/people\/claire-french\/\">Claire French<\/a>, 杏吧原创 University EPAF PhD student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saifeddine Jemli, University of Ottawa PhD student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jessica Malutama, University of Ottawa undergraduate student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"i-think-we-had-an-insightful-and-fruitful-discussion-of-the-book-and-of-martin-luther-king-jr-s-legacy-as-a-political-and-philosophical-thinker-i-was-really-impressed-by-my-fellow-speakers-and-the\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>&#8220;I think we had an insightful and fruitful discussion of the book and of Martin Luther King Jr.&#8217;s legacy as a political and philosophical thinker! I was really impressed by my fellow speakers and the quality of questions posed to us by the audience, especially the MA students in the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/philosophy\/colloquium-and-special-events\/colloquium\/\">Colloquium course<\/a>.&#8221; &#8211; Claire French<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A special thank you to all who made this event possible, including our organizers and attendees. We look forward to continuing to explore and share philosophical ideas with you in the future.
