In 2023, Duncan McCue joined ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University\u2019s School of Journalism and Communications and launched an important course: Reporting in Indigenous Communities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his course, students travel to local Indigenous communities, and come back with a multimedia news story based on a central theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most recently, students in McCue\u2019s course collaborated with the Globe and Mail<\/em> on two articles. The first story reports on the Pikw\u00e0kanag\u00e0n First Nation opting to buy their land back through the AOPFN Limited Partnership, and was published on May 30.
