He graduated from 杏吧原创 with a bachelor\u2019s degree (2009) and PhD (2014) from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/engineering-design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">engineering program<\/a>, specializing in aerospace, aerodynamics and robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Heather Jeffery<\/strong> is the founder and lead fabricator of Re4m Design and Fabrication where her custom designs use discarded materials to build eco-friendly furnishings, fixtures and displays. Her sustainable products have diverted 14,820 pounds of materials from landfills. She graduated from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">industrial design program<\/a> in 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christine McGuire<\/strong> is the executive director at Diefenbunker, Canada\u2019s Cold War Museum. She was also recently featured in the \u201cMost Influential Women Leaders to Watch in 2024\u201d list by The Victory Magazine. McGuire has both a bachelor (2007) and graduate (2009) degree from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">history program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jacob Milosek<\/strong> is a managing partner of Hendry Warren LLP. He is a member of CPA Canada and CPA Ontario, the Canadian Tax Foundation, treasurer of the Corkery Community Centre and a board member of the Ottawa Estate Planning Council. He graduated from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sprott.carleton.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sprott School of Business<\/a> in 2008 with a specialization in accounting and finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jonathan Murray<\/strong> is the co-founder and CEO of Heartee Foods \u2013 the designer, manufacturer and operator of container farming for the cultivation of edible and gourmet mushrooms. Heartee Foods opens the door for new entrants to the farming industry while advancing access to a sustainable food supply. He graduated from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sprott.carleton.ca\/bachelor-of-international-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">international business program<\/a> in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Magnolia Perron<\/strong> is the Indigenous Women and Youth program manager at National Aboriginal Capital Corp. Association. Through strategic fundraising efforts, she has secured $30 million for their national Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship Program. Perron graduated from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sppa\/ipa-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Indigenous policy and administration program<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jeremy Reeds<\/strong> is the president of Windmill Development Group, a real estate development firm committed to revolutionizing traditional practices by prioritizing people, the planet and profits through innovative strategies aimed at achieving zero ecological footprint buildings. He graduated from 杏吧原创\u2019s Sprott School of Business program in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conal Slobodin<\/strong> is the senior manager of Public Affairs at Walmart Canada. He has a background in government relations and public policy, having worked as an account director and consultant lobbyist for a national government relations firm, as a political consultant, and as a federal civil servant. He received his master\u2019s degree in <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/npsia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">international affairs<\/a> from 杏吧原创 in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kyle Smendziuk<\/strong> is the founder and CEO of WebMarketers Inc, a digital marketing agency who has worked with national and international clients. He is also the CEO of Phantom Productions, offering photo, video and animations services to clients worldwide. Smendziuk graduated from 杏吧原创\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/aerospace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aerospace program<\/a> in 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jordi Wills<\/strong> is the president of Wills Transfer Ltd, providing innovative logistics solutions and supply chain services to the Eastern Ontario region. He graduated from the Sprott School of Business with a focus on management, people and organizations in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s selection committee was comprised of 杏吧原创 community alumni, including Jeffrey Johnson, partner at BDO Canada; and Gregory Richards, vice-dean of Graduate and Professional Programs at the University of Ottawa.
