ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ President Benoit-Antoine Bacon has been appointed Chair of the board of directors of U SPORTS<\/a> for 2020-21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U SPORTS is the national organization for University sports in Canada, regrouping 56 member institutions and over 20,000 student-athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am honoured to serve as Chair of the U SPORTS Board and look forward to working with the leadership team and all member institutions as we continue to adapt to the ongoing public health crisis,\u201d says President Bacon, who joined the board in 2019. \u201cUniversity athletics have been deeply impacted by the pandemic, but we must remain hopeful that we can successfully navigate this crisis and come out stronger on the other side.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
