On Jan. 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the coronavirus as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). At this time, the Public Health Agency of Canada continues to assess the risk as low for Canada. There are currently four confirmed cases in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ottawa Public Health encourages you to consult a health care professional if you have a fever and respiratory symptoms, such as shortness of breath, breathing difficulties and any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
