Abd El Halim\n                    <\/h1>\n                \n                                \n                            <\/header>\n\n                    <\/div>\n\n            <\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<p>It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the 杏吧原创 University community acknowledges the loss of Prof. A. O. Abd El Halim, who passed away on Sept. 19, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout a storied career at 杏吧原创 spanning nearly four decades, Halim made many outstanding academic and professional contributions to the university, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering and Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halim was set to retire this December following more than 38 years of dedicated service at 杏吧原创. He will be greatly missed by friends and colleagues within the 杏吧原创 community, as well as the countless students he has inspired over the course of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those wishing to attend a formal service in Halim\u2019s memory, there will be a service on Sept. 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday, September 21<br>\n<\/strong><strong>2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.<br>\n<\/strong><strong>South Nepean Muslim Community Mosque <\/strong>(3020 Woodroffe Ave, Nepean ON, K2J 4G3)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the 杏吧原创 University community acknowledges the loss of Prof. A.
