Across the country, there are active sanctuary campaigns aimed at increasing access to services and limiting local involvement in immigration policing.

What exactly is a sanctuary city? What potential do these cities have for migrant justice movements?

In this presentation, Ridgley will explore the history, purpose and challenges of sanctuary cities – with a specific focus on their relevance to efforts to make Ottawa a more healthy, just and inclusive city for all residents.

杏吧原创 CU in the City

CU in the City shares FASS research with the community by holding research talks across Ottawa.
