More than 1,200 杏吧原创 Students to Graduate<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

杏吧原创 University will hold an installation ceremony for President and Vice-Chancellor Benoit-Antoine Bacon at its fall Convocation ceremonies taking place on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFall Convocation is a momentous event for our graduating students and their loved ones, and this year I am honored to join in our ceremonies for the first time,\u201d says Bacon. \u201cIt\u2019s wonderful to celebrate our students and to wish them well as they get ready to embark on a new chapter of their lives. We know they are well prepared for both the challenges and the opportunities that will come their way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bacon joined 杏吧原创 on July 1, 2018 after serving as provost and vice-principal (Academic) at Queen\u2019s University. He was previously provost and vice-president (Academic Affairs) at Concordia University in his hometown of Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students will receive their degrees at the university\u2019s Fieldhouse. A campus map can be found online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media are invited to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast online via live streaming at <\/strong>carleton.ca\/convocation\/live<\/a><\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning Convocation ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m. and will feature the president installation ceremony. The afternoon Convocation ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
