The event will attempt to bridge the gap between academic research and wellness services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day-long event\u2019s sharing of expertise from the Psychology Department and community partners will provide valuable information that can be applied to daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, from 8:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m.<br>\n<strong>Where<\/strong>: Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/psychology\/wp-content\/uploads\/Psychology-Mental-Health-Day-Agenda-Oct-18.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">program agenda<\/a> for a complete list of room locations on 杏吧原创\u2019s campus. Workshop space is limited and registration is <a href=\"https:\/\/payments.carleton.ca\/psychology\/psychology-mental-health-day-workshop-registration-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">available online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Media are invited to attend.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following World Mental Health Day (Oct. 10), this event continues the conversation on mental health and intends to connect the community to resources on and off campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will begin with remarks from Pauline Rankin, dean of the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/fass\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences<\/a>, and Suzanne Blanchard, vice-president (Students and Enrolment), who will provide an overview of 杏吧原创\u2019s many mental health initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event features an expert panel discussion, numerous workshops on topics like personality types, anxiety disorders, healthy behavior and psychological well-being.
