The design of this period film garnered accolades from critics and audiences alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where<\/strong>: Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at 6 p.m.<br>\n<strong>Where<\/strong>: Alma Duncan Salon, Ottawa Art Gallery, 50 Mackenzie King Bridge, Ottawa<br>\n<strong>Info<\/strong>: This event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Media are invited to attend the event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following graduation from 杏吧原创, Austerberry worked as an architect designing small commercial and residential projects before segueing into design for film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has designed extensively for feature films with credits including <em>12\/24<\/em>, <em>30 Days of Night<\/em>, <em>Pompeii<\/em>, <em>The Liberator<\/em>, <em>The Three Musketeers<\/em>, <em>Twilight Saga: Eclipse,<\/em> <em>Deathrace<\/em> and the Canadian feature <em>Men With Brooms<\/em>. Austerberry is currently designing Andy Muschietti\u2019s <em>It: Chapter 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2018, in addition to the Academy Award, he won the Critics Choice Award and the British Academy of Film and Television Award for Best Production Design for his work on Guillermo del Toro\u2019s <em>The Shape of Water<\/em>. He was a Canadian Screen Award winner for Achievement in Art Direction \/ Production Design for his work on <em>Pompeii <\/em>and was awarded a Canadian Gemini for his work designing the musical special <em>Inspired by Bach<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a child, Austerberry travelled extensively with his parents, including three years living in Uganda. As film has taken him to locations around the world, travel is a constant source of inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"about-forum-lecture-series\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">杏吧原创 Forum Lecture Series:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First initiated in 1968, the Forum Lecture series is an inspiring event that introduces the 杏吧原创 community to a host of leading practitioners and critics of architecture.
