The 杏吧原创 Initiative for Parliamentary and Diplomatic Engagement<\/a> and the Ambassador of Germany to Canada, Sabine Sparwasser, will host the expert panel Women in International Trade: Driving Economic Empowerment and Growth.

The expert panel will explore how women in international trade can advance the themes of Canada\u2019s G7 presidency: investing in growth that works for everyone, preparing for jobs of the future, and advancing gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topics of discussion include the challenges of encouraging businesses majority-owned by women to increase exports, the implications of an increasingly protectionist trade environment, how innovation and technology affect women, and what a focus on women in international trade means for men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
