Besides being lucky to have nothing less than perfect sunny weather on the beautiful West Coast, the team was awarded the 1st prize for the &#8216;Outstanding Research Competition&#8217;, with the work titled: <em>Visualization of Fibrillar Collagen Networks Using Label-Free Nonlinear Optical Microscopy: Deciphering the ECM Structure of 3D-Bioprinted Constructs.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This work was part of Shahad Shakir&#8217;s recently concluded Master&#8217;s in Biomedical Engineering and was done in collaboration with Dr. Murugkar from 杏吧原创&#8217;s Physics Department and the NRC.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations, team!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, Dr. Mosta\u00e7o-Guidolin was in Vancouver BC, participating in the 45th Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Conference.
