{"id":14171,"date":"2017-09-20T14:07:58","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T18:07:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/mobileservices\/?p=14171"},"modified":"2017-09-20T14:07:58","modified_gmt":"2017-09-20T18:07:58","slug":"email-access-issues-in-ios-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/mobileservices\/2017\/email-access-issues-in-ios-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Email Access Issues in iOS 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you are using the native mail app on your iPhone or iPad, and upgrade to iOS 11, you may encounter issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">How does this affect me?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Due to an incompatibility in the new release of iOS, users of the built-in Apple Mail app in iOS 11 may be unable to sync their Office 365 mailbox or login to their accounts. iOS 9 or 10 users are not affected.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">What do I need to do to fix this?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Microsoft and Apple are working to resolve this issue and will post more information to the article, below, when it becomes available. In the meantime, they recommend you download the free Outlook for iOS client, available in the App Store.
