She will be working in the lab to help develop the hardware systems of our Uninhabited Autonomous Vehicle (UAV). The UAV system will test the new landing algorithms for maritime applications. Additionally, Camilla will be assisting with the measurement and development of a new non-contact wave gauge system for the lab’s flume tank, wave generator and motion platform.

Johanna Mcphee’s paper, “On-line Determination of a Go-NoGo State Using a Continous Estimation of the System Response” and Cassidy Westin’s paper, “Vortex-Induced Vibrations of a Low-tension Cable-Sheave System Modeled using Nonlinear Finite Elements” have both been accepted.

The will be held at York University from May 27-30th 2018.
