A candidate may, with the support of the Graduate Director and the approval of the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs, be allowed a grade of C+ in .5 credit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I need to apply to graduate?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, otherwise you will not graduate.\u00a0 Application to graduate is in 杏吧原创 Central.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I automatically get a mailbox in the School mailroom?<\/strong><br \/>\nOnly graduate students holding a Teaching Assistantship will be assigned a mailbox.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I apply for travel funding?<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are a full-time student whose paper or poster has been accepted to a conference, please read and follow the instructions and application forms\u00a0<a title=\"Travel Application\" href=\"http:\/\/gradstudents.carleton.ca\/awards-and-funding\/internal-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. Please complete it in full and submit to the Graduate Administrator for processing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I register in a Ottawa University course?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ottawa University courses are identified in the registration system by using sections &#8220;P&#8221; and &#8220;O&#8221;.\u00a0 You need to check Ottawa Universities website for <a href=\"https:\/\/uocampus.public.uottawa.ca\/psp\/csprpr9pub\/EMPLOYEE\/SA\/c\/UO_SR_AA_MODS.UO_PUB_CLSSRCH.GBL?languageCd=ENG\">scheduling<\/a> and location. \u00a0An\u00a0 email will be sent from Ottawa University with instructions on how to access uozone and activate your Ottawa University email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do I do if I get a registration error message?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Fill out an override request in the registration system.\u00a0 For assistance with overrides watch this <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/registration\/override-requests\/#sect3\">video<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where can I find important dates and deadlines, rules and regulations<br \/>\n<\/strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/grad\/\">graduate calendar<\/a> should be your first tool for answers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where can I find thesis procedure?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduate Studies <a href=\"https:\/\/gradstudents.carleton.ca\/resources-page\/thesis-requirements\/\">thesis procedures<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I apply for a leave of absence, late registration, withdraw from program?<br \/>\n<\/strong>These forms are found on Graduate Studies <a href=\"https:\/\/gradstudents.carleton.ca\/resources-page\/forms-policies\/#academic-and-registrarial-forms\">website<\/a>.\u00a0 These forms must be filled out, signed and returned to the <a href=\"&#109;&#x73;&#45;&#x67;&#114;&#x61;&#100;&#x61;&#100;&#x6d;&#105;&#x6e;&#64;&#x6d;&#97;&#x74;&#104;&#x2e;&#99;&#x61;&#114;&#x6c;&#101;&#x74;&#111;&#x6e;&#46;&#x63;a\">graduate administrator.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I audit a course?<br \/>\n<\/strong>You need to fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/gradstudents.carleton.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Audit-Request-form-1.pdf\">audit form<\/a> and obtain all signatures.\u00a0 You then return the form to the <a href=\"https:&#x2f;&#47;&#x63;&#x61;r&#x6c;&#101;t&#x6f;&#110;&#46;&#x63;&#97;&#x2f;&#x6d;a&#x74;&#104;\/&#x77;&#112;\/&#x77;&#112;&#x2d;&#x61;&#100;&#x6d;&#x69;n&#x2f;&#109;s&#x2d;&#103;r&#x61;&#100;&#x61;&#x64;m&#x69;&#110;&#64;&#x6d;&#97;t&#x68;&#46;&#x63;&#x61;&#114;&#x6c;&#x65;t&#x6f;&#110;&#46;&#x63;&#97;\">graduate administrator.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>When will I get my grades?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Grades will be posted\u00a0 approximately 5 days after they are submitted by the instructor of the course.\u00a0 The instructors have 10 days to submit grades after their deadlines.\u00a0 Please do not send emails to the school asking where your grades are.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I know my program Time Limit?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Run an audit in carleton central.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is my first point of contact if I have a question or concern?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Your first point of contact is the <a href=\"&#x6d;&#x73;&#x2d;&#x67;&#114;&#97;&#100;ad&#x6d;&#x69;&#x6e;&#x40;&#x6d;&#97;&#116;&#104;&#46;c&#x61;&#x72;&#x6c;&#x65;&#x74;&#111;&#110;&#46;ca\">graduate administrator<\/a>.\u00a0 Please do not send multiple emails around the same subject and do not copy multiple recipients.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fields Institute Written permission from your Supervisor and the Graduate Director from the School of Mathematics and Statistics is required prior to taking the course.
