CANSSI Ontario will be hosting an upcoming lecture by University of Pennsylvania Professor聽, who will be delivering the annual聽聽(DLSS) in Toronto on May 9 and 10, 2023. The DLSS will be broadcast live via ZOOM for those who cannot attend in person and recorded and posted to the CANSSI Ontario YouTube channel at a later date.
罢丑别听聽has been running for more than 20 years, and it is one of the most significant lectures of its kind in Canada. The lecture brings an internationally renowned statistics/data scientist to Ontario to discuss their research. DLSS speakers are selected by a committee of six faculty members in statistics/data sciences at Ontario鈥檚 universities, including 杏吧原创 University. This lecture is an excellent opportunity to showcase your Department’s efforts in advancing the fields of statistics and data sciences in Ontario, and we believe it will interest many faculty and students at 杏吧原创 University.
Professor Tchetgen Tchetgen is one of five inaugural winners of the 2022聽. The award was conferred for 鈥渢heir pioneering work on Causal Inference with applications in Medicine and Public Health.鈥�
