class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\"><strong>1) Change of Status from Full-Time to Part-Time (Calendar reg. 7.10):<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who have valid reasons for changing status from full-time to part-time prior to registration for a term may apply for permission by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Writing to Graduate Studies stating the reason(s) for seeking exemption from the full-time registration requirements stated in 7.9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By completing a Change of Registration Status Form, accompanied by a statement from the Associate Chair, Graduate &nbsp;\u2013 and the thesis supervisor, if applicable &nbsp;\u2013 in support of their request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It is understood that such a status change will be granted only in exceptional cases (e.g., for medical reasons.)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Exemptions are normally granted for a term.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/cupe4600.ca\/\">CUPE 4600 Unit 1<\/a>\u2013 Collective interested in taking 4th year courses<\/strong>:<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective Fall 2014, Masters students will only be allowed to take one (1) undergraduate course towards their degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please email your request to Janet at janet.perras@carleton.ca.
