Doctor in Geography and Master in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico (UNAM). B.A. in Economics from the Catholic University of Nicaragua. Her areas of interest are the geography of tourism and human mobility. She has worked in Research and Development functions in the Graduate Program in Geography. Currently, she is the Head of the Projects Department of the University Program of City Studies at UNAM.
