The Graduate Committee in the Department of Law and Legal Studies was presented with many outstanding nominations for the Chet Mitchell Memorial Award<\/a> in Law this year.  Out of these outstanding nominees, the Committee concluded that this year the deserving winner of the Chet Mitchell Memorial Award in Law would be Andre Arnet-Zargarian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professors praised Andre\u2019s outstanding contributions in the classroom and beyond. Andre is a \u201ckey leader of classroom discussion\u201d and \u201coften introduced a different way of reading that sparked classroom discussions,\u201d said one professor.  Another stated, \u201c\u2026 he has been an engaged and critical student who has added significantly to class discussion.\u201d  Andre\u2019s excellent written work showed an \u201cimpressive depth of understanding\u201d of difficult texts and could serve as the groundwork for larger projects to come, Prof. Peter Swan<\/a> added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
