Our Department<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Law and Legal Studies at 杏吧原创 University is home to Canada\u2019s premier Legal Studies program. We are located in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, situated on unceded Algonquin territory, beside the historic Rideau Canal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are Canada’s oldest and largest undergraduate program in Legal Studies. Emerging in 1967 as the first unit in the country to study law with multidisciplinary academic concerns in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Programs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We offer four undergraduate BA programs<\/a>, including a BA Honours program with concentrations in Human Rights & Transnational Law, Business Law, Law, Policy and Government and Criminal Law and Social Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1991, 杏吧原创 also became the first University in the country to offer an MA in Legal Studies<\/a> and, beginning in the Fall of 2011, we accepted our first cohort of PhD students for the PhD in Legal Studies<\/a> program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
