Maintenance will be performed on the\u00a0Exchange Public Folders<\/strong>, the weekend of Friday, Jan 29th. Access\u00a0to your Exchange email, as well as to any Shared Mailboxes, will\u00a0NOT<\/strong>\u00a0be\u00a0affected<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are Public Folders?<\/strong>
Public Folders are a legacy feature of Exchange for Faculty and Staff, accessible only to PC Outlook users, and used only by a small subset of Exchange users on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

During this Public Folder maintenance, beginning\u00a0Friday, Jan 29 at 5:00PM<\/b>, the Public Folders will remain\u00a0accessible, but in\u00a0read-only<\/em>\u00a0mode. A few Public Folders are configured to receive email messages. Any mail sent to these mail-enabled Public Folders will be queued for later delivery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Normal access to the Public Folders will be restored as quickly as possible, but no later than the end of Sunday (midnight), Jan 31.<\/span> Access was restored at 9:00PM Friday, Jan 29.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
