See <strong>Note 1<\/strong> in Figure below.<\/li>\n<li>The default channel is called &#8220;General&#8221;. Each channel has its own <strong>Conversations<\/strong> and <strong>Files<\/strong> tab. We recommend you start with a single channel; your team owner can add additional channels. See <strong>Note 2<\/strong> in figure below.<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/teams\/wp-content\/uploads\/teams-landing-page.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-225 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/teams\/wp-content\/uploads\/teams-landing-page.png\" alt=\"teams landing page\" width=\"935\" height=\"607\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Sending a Notice of Conversation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>All conversation entries are visible to <strong>all team members<\/strong> when they visit the Teams site.\u00a0But you can send an immediate notice to specific team members or to the team site (i.e. to ALL members) by beginning your conversation entry with @ + the first few letters of their name. See <strong>Note 3<\/strong> in the figure above.<\/li>\n<li>Users with the Teams app or website open, will receive immediate notification.
