In a standard printing environment, a job is sent directly to the printer for immediate printing. If the printed material is forgotten it not only wastes ink and paper, but presents a security risk if the material was sensitive or confidential.

The Confidential Printing queue provides a simple solution that places your jobs in a holding state until you authenticate with your Campus Card and release it at any Konica Minolta printer. Print jobs will be held in a queue for 12 hours.

This is an optional service available on both Mac and PC.

Resolved: Student Network Printers /its/2015/service-alert-student-network-printers-currently-unavailable/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=service-alert-student-network-printers-currently-unavailable Mon, 23 Feb 2015 14:24:35 +0000 http://carleton.ca/its/?p=16941 As of 1:00 PM, problems continued with the Student Network Printers.  ITS responded and full service has been restored as of 2:55 pm.  ITS continues to monitor the service.

As of 9:30 AM, Student Network Printer server was restarted and printer service has been returned to normal.

As of 9:15 AM, Monday, February 23rd, problems with the Student Network Printers are currently unavailable.  ITS Support is investigating.
