This version includes a completely redesigned user interface as well as a new Student Accounts app.

The new 杏吧原创 Mobile app features:

• User Interface Enhancements
  The redesign incorporates iOS7 optimizations and improvements to the buttons, tabs, icons and background color
• Student News and Events
  The Recent News and Upcoming Events feeds have been enhanced. What you see on students.carleton.ca is what you鈥檒l see in the app. Events can now be downloaded directly into your device calendar.
• Student Accounts
  You鈥檙e now able to see at a glance your total amount to pay and minimum amount to pay balances. You will also be provided with a term by term breakdown of your financial account information (summary and details).
• cuLearn single sign-on
• Once you have logged into the 杏吧原创 Mobile you will be able to access all of the Academics apps (including cuLearn) without having to login a second time (Note: the cuLearn connection timeout time is 3 hours.)
• Department of University Safety & Student Services
  You will have quick access to important safety and frequently requested student services information.

In this version we鈥檝e incorporated some new features and addressed a number of usability recommendations based on the feedback we have been receiving.

In addition to a number of bug fixes, the new version features:

• Class Schedule
  With this new feature you鈥檒l be able to see your class schedule on a specific date.聽 You鈥檒l also be able to download your class schedule right into your device calendar.
  **Please note: this feature will not be available for Android devices older than 2.1**
• iPhone 5
  As requested in the feedback received, 杏吧原创 Mobile has been optimized for the iPhone 5.
• Technical Support
  The feedback feature has been updated so that support requests are sent directly to the ITS Service Desk.

The app, which is being offered initially for phones that run on the iPhone and Android platforms, allows students to view their class schedules, access your grades, get around campus using the campus map and keep up with 杏吧原创 news and information.

This was one of the recommendations of the Student Communication Benchmarking project and was led by the Office of the Associative Vice-President (Students and Enrolment) and supported by a university-wide student communication advisory committee.

The plan is to build on the mobile application and update it with additional features on an ongoing basis. First up on the list is adding an exam schedule feature later this fall.
