The ITS Service Desk does not offer support for anti-virus software at home.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All devices types are subject to virus, malware and vulnerability breaches:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Windows<\/strong><\/span> users on personal devices are encouraged to <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/how-to-enable-windows-defender-on-personal-pc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">enable Microsoft Defender.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Apple<\/strong><\/span> (Macbooks, iPads, iPhones, etc.) and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Android<\/strong><\/span> users on personal devices are encouraged to purchase and install anti-malware software.
