Clicking on the icon will expand the Chat window.  Type your issue or request and a live Service Desk agent will respond momentarily.

Your Chat session will also crate a Jira ticket that you can view from the list of tickets in your Portal view.

Review or Modify Open Requests in the Jira Service Desk Portal /its/help-centre/review-modify-open-requests-in-the-jira-service-desk-portal/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=review-modify-open-requests-in-the-jira-service-desk-portal Fri, 04 Sep 2020 18:19:18 +0000 /its/help-centre/?page_id=1369 To view your currently active items, log onto the Jira Service Desk Portal and click on Requests in the upper right corner.  You will see 2 options available to you:  My Requests and All Requests.

My Requests will display any/all issues that were raised by you and are currently in an Open state, as indicated by the filter along the top.

Click on an a ticket to open and review.  From here you can:

  1. check the status
  2. add comments
  3. review comments
  4. resolve the issue if it no longer exists.

To navigate back to your main Portal page, click Help Center in the upper left.  To navigate back to your list of open items, click Requests > My Requests in the upper right.

Options Description Example
Report an Issue When a system or application is broken or inaccessible Unable to log onto cuLearn
Request Help A new service or access is required Computing account request

Select one of the above mentioned options, then complete the form by entering your information into the Summary and Description fields.  You can also include an Attachment, if necessary.

Click Create to submit your request to the ITS Service Desk for triaging.

You will receive an acknowledgement email that your submission has been received.  Please do not reply to these email notifications.  Instead, use the Jira Service Desk Portal to review or modify ticket information.

Logging Onto Jira Customer Portal /its/help-centre/logging-onto-jira-customer-portal/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=logging-onto-jira-customer-portal Thu, 03 Sep 2020 20:14:32 +0000 /its/help-centre/?page_id=1333 The Jira Service Desk Customer Portal provides customers an enhanced method of engagement for customer service requests.  Users will be able to raise a service request or report an issue, see a list of their open tickets, check their current status, add additional information or raise additional questions.  Any changes will automatically be appended to the ticket for review by the assigned Agent or Support Team.

To launch the portal, click the following link and log on using your MC1 account:
