Grand Hall at the Museum of History

The Canadian Museum of History collects, studies, preserves and presents the human history of Canada and the cultural diversity of its peoples. The museum鈥檚 permanent galleries explore Canada鈥檚 20,000 yeas of human history with a rotating program of special exhibitions. The Museum of History is home to the聽聽and an IMAX 3D theatre.

Special exhibits in June include ““, and .聽 According to the Museum, the latter exhibit draws聽upon the most recent scientific discoveries on the genus Homo, and comes from the Mus茅um national d鈥橦istoire naturelle (France). It brings together, for the first time, exceptional fossils rarely shown to the public outside Europe.
