Apply for co-op via the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Co-op Office<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

To be eligible for admission to Co-op, students must:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. be enrolled in the Master of Infrastructure Protection and International Security<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. have successfully completed, by the end of their first term of academic study, at least 1.5 credits toward the M.IPIS<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. have successfully completed, by the start-date of the first work term, a total of 3.0 credits toward the M.IPIS<\/strong>; 1.5 of which must be core compulsory credits<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. be registered as a full-time student in each academic term prior to a work term;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. be eligible to work in Canada (for off-campus work terms)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    IPIS 5913 [0.0] Co-operative Work Term is in addition to the 5.0 credits required for the IPIS program<\/strong> – Two (2) co-op terms must be successfully completed before the student is eligible to receive a co-op designation on their academic transcript. For details on requirements and regulations, please see section 14.0 (Co-operative Education Policy) of the Graduate Calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Work terms are four months in duration, and students who are successful in obtaining a placement can typically find work in either government or the private sector.
