Degrees in electrical engineering from the American University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a research assistant at the Sensor Systems and Internet of Things (IoT) Laboratory at 杏吧原创 University. Her Ph.D. thesis studies intelligent network slicing mechanisms for IoT systems. Prior to her Ph.D. studies, Dana worked as a telecommunication engineer in the Emirates Telecommunication Group Company (ETISALAT), UAE, from 2015 to 2019. During her work, she was recognized with an excellence award for her outstanding technical efforts in the mobile core operations department.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Research Interests<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5G systems and beyond, IoT, Network slicing, Machine learning\/Artificial intelligence for networks and communications, Network automation.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Publications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>D.
