Dr. Farzam Sepanta holds a PhD in Building Engineering and worked with the Government of Canada to quantify emissions associated with offices, homes, transportation, and the internet. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farzam was a member of the Human Building Interaction Lab (HBI) at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University and his research focused on the comprehensive assessment of the energy impact of teleworking in different domains of transportation, residential buildings, offices, and information and communication technologies (ICT). With a specialization in decarbonization and human building interaction, he has authored more than 20 publications on energy optimization, occupant behavior, daylighting and optimum lighting, multi-objective optimization, and the intersection of virtual reality and education in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
