The Centre for Indigenous Initiatives offers cultural workshops for Indigenous students and provides learning opportunities for the broader 杏吧原创 community.<\/p>\n

In addition to weekly scheduled programming, there are also monthly events and that include gatherings, feasts, traditional teachings and knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n

Ojigkwanong Weekly Programming Poster<\/a><\/h3>\n

Monday<\/h2>\n

Happy Hour Drop-In<\/h3>\n

Mondays can be tough! Start your week off right by coming to Ojigkwanong<\/a> every Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Cedar Tea, Treats and Quick Tips.<\/p>\n

Traditional Storytelling<\/h3>\n

On the third Monday of every month, traditional storytelling will occur during the Happy Hour Drop-In.<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/h2>\n

Traditional Crafts<\/h3>\n

One the third Tuesday of every Month, Indigenous students can engage in traditional crafts at Ojigkwanong from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., starting September 21st, 2021.<\/p>\n

Rattle Making – September 21<\/a><\/p>\n

Virtual<\/em> Indigenous Book Club<\/h3>\n

There will also be a Virtual Indigenous Book Club happening on the last Tuesday of the month from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m..<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/h2>\n

Student Writing Service Support<\/h3>\n

This service will be available on Wednesday’s from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Sewing Group<\/h3>\n

Starting September 22nd, 2021, Indigenous students can participate in Ojigkwanong’s Sewing Group from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration is required as there is limited space.<\/p>\n

Beading Circle<\/h3>\n

Starting September 23rd, 2021, you can stop by Ojigkwanong to participate in the weekly beading circle. Beading supplies are provided.<\/p>\n

Soup Drop-In<\/h3>\n

Head to Ojigkwanong on Friday’s from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to warm up with some delicious soup.<\/p>\n
