Bains spoke at the Canada-India Innovation Conference on Sept. 23, which聽organizers hope will become an annual event. The one-day event attracted about 120 academic experts, diplomats and government and private-sector individuals interested in emerging opportunities in innovation and investment in energy, as well as smart cities initiatives in the two countries.
