Bronwyn Williams is a Psychology B.A. Honours undergraduate from 杏吧原创 University working in Dr. Ysseldyk鈥檚 lab as a research assistant. With the supervision of Dr. Ysseldyk, Bronwyn completed her honours thesis titled 鈥淓xistential Authenticity, Religiosity and Mental Health: Age Differences in an Increasingly Secular Society鈥. In addition to working on a publication of her undergraduate thesis, Bronwyn is administrating and conducting qualitative interviews, transcription, and analyses for the 鈥淕erotranscendence and Secularization of Society鈥 research at the Social Identity & Health Lab.
Bronwyn is presently in graduate school at the University of Ottawa, completing a Counselling Psychology M.Ed.. Her goal is to be a psychotherapist who advocates for evidence based, positive health behaviour interventions (e.g. physical activity) as well as research how these interventions may impact those struggling with mental illness.
