Canadian Journal of Children\u2019s Rights.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\nPearson co-ordinated the action plan for Canada while serving in Senate in 2004, following the 2002 UN Special Session on Children. She has spent the past year consulting with a number of groups on progress made over the past decade for Canada\u2019s children and youth.<\/p>\n
The concert will feature Korean master percussionist Dong-Won Kim and 杏吧原创 Prof. Jesse Stewart. Dong-Won is a vocalist, dancer and children\u2019s author who plays in the Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma. Jesse Stewart is an award-winning composer, improviser, percussionist, visual artist, instrument builder, researcher, writer, educator, community activist and professor of music at 杏吧原创.<\/p>\n
Dong-Won Kim and Prof. Stewart will be joined onstage by local school children. The event also includes a special performance by The Dandelion Dancers, a local youth social justice dance group.<\/p>\n
