Curatorial Studies seminar students invite all to visit a captivating exhibition,听Anne Meredith Barry: Force of Nature, presented on the main floor of MacOdrum听Library (the large wall nearest the big windows, to the left of the main doors) from April 11 to May 30, 2023.听
The exhibition features听selected prints听by the renowned Newfoundland-based听artist Anne Meredith Barry. The听work showcases听her听at once bold, whimsical, and immersive style of depicting Newfoundland鈥檚 unique landscapes.听The听prints听are selected from 杏吧原创 University Art Gallery collection and are听being听exhibited听for the first time since they were donated to CUAG in 1998.听
Force of Nature is curated听by students of the winter 2023 Curatorial Studies 5001听seminar, Danni Hurley,听Michelle Liteplo听and Aliisa听Qureshi, taught by Dr. Stephen Inglis. It听invites reflections on our听relationships to nature and the land through exploration of nature鈥檚 dualities of strength and fragility, harmony听and conflict, and more. 鈥�
