IARR will be hosting a day-long New Scholar Workshop pre-conference on Thurs. June 20, 2019<\/strong>, from approximately 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, for graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers. See New Scholar Workshop Program<\/a><\/p>\n

The cost of the workshop is $75 and includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments (there is a $25 discount for students\/postdocs (members) that register for both the conference and the pre-conference).<\/p>\n

The workshop will include panel discussions by more established scholars on topics such as getting and maximizing postdoctoral opportunities, open science practices for new scholars, and balancing teaching, research, and service. Brian Ogolsky<\/strong> will be the moderator and host of the New Scholar Workshop. Check out our exciting line-up of panel members:<\/p>\n
