Minimum Wage Increase 2025

A Reminder to all Administrators and Managers

Effective October 1, 2025, there will be a minimum wage increase in Ontario.

The minimum wage will be $17.60 per hour for general workers.  For students under the age of 18 and working less than 28 hours per week, the minimum wage changes to $16.60 per hour.

For jobs that have already been set up for payment in Banner, that have an hourly rate less than those stated above, the rate will be automatically increased effective October 1, 2025.

No action is required on the part of departments.

2024 T4 Slips Available

The electronic information slips (T4 and T4A’s) produced by payroll for the 2024 tax year are now available on Ӱԭ Central. If you encounter any problems, viewing your tax information slips, please visit our frequently asked questions page “Where can I find information about tax forms?”.

For employees who have not selected electronic delivery of payroll T4 and T4A information slips, the paper forms will be distributed during the week of February 24st.
