They provide services to individuals, and partner with institutions to support their efforts in empowering students and postdocs.<\/p>\n<p>Their content features PhDs with successful non-academic careers who share their unique expertise and experiences to support graduate students in their job search and future employment. Beyond the Professoriate is career advice by PhDs, for PhDs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7e39893 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7e39893\" data-element_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n<p>Co-founders Jennifer Polk, PhD (history, University of Toronto), and L. Maren Wood, PhD (history, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), possess first-hand knowledge of the challenges PhDs encounter when they leave academia for careers beyond the professoriate. Maren and Jen (also a 杏吧原创 MA History alumna) have dedicated their careers to helping graduate students and PhDs find success outside of academia.
