\n Students in HIST 4302 Experience Green Screen Technology in Studio\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

One production group in this year\u2019s HIST 4302 – Making Documentary History<\/a> with Michael Ostroff<\/a> \u2013\u2013 had much fun with Green Screen technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using a green screen allows a filmmaker to place a subject in the foreground of shot and to insert – during editing – background images of their choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, undergraduate students Carly Pickett, Christine Smith and Heather Keary \u2014 producing a documentary about Gananoque photographer Lorne Prosser \u2013\u2013 used green screen technology to interview Dr. Carol Payne \u2014 a professor at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ and a specialist in the study of photography \u2013\u2013 in the Media Production Centre\u2019s studio<\/p>\n\n\n\n
