Four teams of undergraduates presented the documentaries they produced as part of Filmmaker <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/people\/michael-ostroff\/\">Michael Ostroff<\/a>&#8216;s popular 4th year seminar, <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/undergraduate\/courses\/4000-level-2\/hist-4302a\/\">HIST 4302 &#8211; Making Documentary History<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the films were excellent, two among them stood out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/Riley-Peckford-Ellis-Buschek-Brooke-Peloquin-and-Taylor-Blewett.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/Riley-Peckford-Ellis-Buschek-Brooke-Peloquin-and-Taylor-Blewett-240x180.jpg\" alt=\"Riley Peckford, Ellis Buschek, Brooke Peloquin, and Taylor Blewett\" class=\"wp-image-16044\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/Riley-Peckford-Ellis-Buschek-Brooke-Peloquin-and-Taylor-Blewett-240x180.jpg 240w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/Riley-Peckford-Ellis-Buschek-Brooke-Peloquin-and-Taylor-Blewett-160x120.jpg 160w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/Riley-Peckford-Ellis-Buschek-Brooke-Peloquin-and-Taylor-Blewett.jpg 288w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Riley Peckford, Ellis Buschek, Brooke Peloquin, and Taylor Blewett<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Judges\u2019 Winning Selection:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cStolen Moments: The Art of Wilfrid Flood.\u201d Produced by Brooke Peloquin, Ellis Buschek, Taylor Blewett, and Riley Peckford. This film tells the tale of an accomplished Ottawa artist who died tragically young.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Instructor\u2019s Runner-Up Selection:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cSong of Escape.\u201d Produced by Bobby Williams, Candace Moore, Maliha Mollah, &amp; Peter Rukavina. This film explored the Diefenbunker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cHidden in the Wool.\u201d Produced by Graham Bianchi, Shannon Ford, &amp; Victoria McCaldon.
