color: black;\">The Department of History is currently home to the Pinhey&#8217;s Point Foundation exhibit &#8220;Remedies, Elixirs, and Medical Men&#8221; in the department on the 4th floor of&nbsp;Paterson Hall,&nbsp;the first of two exhibitions that will&nbsp;visit the department this autumn to&nbsp;complement the theme of this year&#8217;s Shannon Lectures in History, entitled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/news\/shannon-lecture\/\">Critical Care: Treatment of&nbsp;Body and Mind in Social and Cultural History<\/a>&#8220;.&nbsp;
