Med Hondo was on hand to introduce his films as part of a retrospective, and participate in an international symposium involving distinguished scholars in the field of African cinema, History, and Film Theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Aboubakar Sanogo, Chair of Film Studies and organizer of the retrospective and symposium, shared his reflections on the event and his thoughts on Med Hondo\u2019s work with Prof. <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/people\/daniel-mcneil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daniel McNeil<\/a>, an Associate Professor of History and 杏吧原创\u2019s strategic hire in <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/mds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Migration and Diaspora Studies<\/a>.
