He&nbsp;&nbsp;is a Professor of History and International Affairs at Northeastern University in Boston, where he also serves as Associate Director for Public Humanities, and as Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. His research focuses on geographical ways of thinking in the constitution of social and cultural life, both historically and in the present.
