Jenna is pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours degree with a concentration in Disability and Chronic Illness at 杏吧原创 University.听听Her past research involved a visual content analysis of the representation of athletes on North American running magazines and the societal impact of their representation in the Journal of Communication and Sport. Her current research interests include social justice and equity issues, specifically involving access to trauma and violence-informed interventions for immigrant and refugee populations in Canada.听During her undergraduate studies, she has been involved in the听Research Institute at the Children鈥檚 Hospital of Eastern Ontario as well as the听Youth Ottawa 杏吧原创 Immigrant Services Organization as a volunteer.
