Austin Selvig
Alumnus (now at Arborus)
During his bachelor’s degree, Austin worked on the 杏吧原创 Solar Decathlon Team, and聽focused聽on guiding the project using existing literature on the strengths and weaknesses of previous high efficiency homes. In 2011, he helped design a retrofit for a heritage building for the Eco-logical Competition, and volunteered with the competition the following year. More recently, Austin worked at Minto Group Inc. as a Junior Green Building Consultant, which involved analyzing building energy use in order to find ways of reducing energy use and environmental impact.
聽Austin completed an聽M.A.Sc. of Sustainable Energy Engineering (co-supervised by Craig Merrett) in 2015, studying high efficiency house design, modelling and optimization techniques.
